Batwings

My arms have always been the one area I've hated about my body, even at my heaviest when I was big everywhere. Now that I'm losing weight my arms are still huge and the skin is really baggy there. So now when I'm wearing smaller sizes I can't fit in about 3/4 of them because of my freaking arms! I'm so frustrated!! The one place that I am considering plastics is my arms but I know that is far away considering I'm not even done with losing weight plus then I want to maintain my final weight for a while before I would even do that surgery.

So my question is how do you deal with the batwings?? I know with saggy skin everywhere else you can slap on spanx and that can make you look decent in clothes but so far it seems that all I can do is still wear bigger sizes and then have it be so baggy everywhere else. GAH.

Ooh, a thrifty kind of solution - I will definitely be looking her up. Thanks!

I find shirts that are three quarter length.  I try to focus on the good parts of my body also. We can really pick ourselves apart when we start looking at our skin.

Old navy has some cute t-shirts that are three quarter length and they are pretty cheap.

Spanx does make one for upper arms - a bolero thing.  For me, it crept up the back of the neck, so it is only good for high necked shirts or turtlenecks.

Okay, I want to buy that!! To at least try it out but I can't find it anywhere, it must not have sold very well. Where did you buy it?

I'm pre-worried because that's what I do) because I don't have any lymph nodes so I don't know if I can even have plastic surgery on my arms. So I'm concerned I'm going to lose this weight and still have to have these horrible arms my whole life...but I need to so not get that far ahead of myself lol!

Looks like the Spanx one is sold out on QVC.

Here is a similar product.  http://www.yourcontour.com/en/shop/bolero-long-sleeve-arm-sh apewear/

You might want to examine the other products this site offers. Good Luck.  Mine was OK, but it's no where near getting actual surgery, but it does reduce the jiggle.  It is another layer of clothing, so it can get hot in the summer.

omg, I just went to look at the bolero shapewear, and what is up with them showing her butt?  I'm at work, and the picture changed and there is a behind in a thong!  Talk about gratuitous, lol.

I have a bolero arm shaper, and I got it on Amazon for fifteen bucks. You can send it back if it doesn't work.

I actually have pretty good luck with it. The back doesn't creep up, especially if you put it on BEFORE your bra and it's underneath the straps. It also works pretty well for armwarmers when I'm out cycling, and that's an added bonus!
