Still not to where I'd like to be, but at least I found a swim suit that covers my scars. I am still so very very self-conscious about it though.  Also, has anyone had any issues with scars in the sun (burning etc?)?

Blog has been updated with pictures and all that jazz.

My surgeon highly recommends sunscreen on incision scars for at least two years after your surgery or they will turn dark in color and stay that way.

Yep two years of keeping the scars fully sun blocked with 50 SPF on them frequently!  I am two years out of Plastics and my scars are very faint now.  Have a great holiday!
