Does anyone here know about WLS and MS?

In 2009, I had a work up for MS that was inconclusive (I had optic neuritis).

In 2010 I had a VSG and am consulting with my surgeon this Friday as there doesn't seem to be restriction. I'm wondering if she will 

advise revising to a RNY.

In the meantime, I've had follow up MRIs which suggest MS. I have a new neurologist I really like/respect and he wants to do a spinal tap which

could confirm the MS diagnosis.

Thoughts or experiences re: MS and WLS?

I have one friend with MS who did great after RNY and her MS also greatly improved.
