NSV even after 13 years

I ran out between rain storms yesterday and finally got all my mail for the week.  I was thumbing through a catalog and noted a few tops were cute.  When I looked further I realized the "smallest" size was 14!  I can remember the days when I would have killed to be a 14, wearing a size 32 at my biggest.  It was a great feeling to know even after all those years how wonderful this tool is!

Wishing you many NSVs!!!!!

I believe that maintenance is MUCH harder than losing.  Good on you!

ISO ... New "clique" members. You must be kind, warm, welcoming, honest, intelligent, and have a sense of humor. The words "shamed" or "victim" can not be in your regular vocabulary. Sarcasm is welcome (and wanted!), but cruelty is not. You must not be a coddler or a shamer. All members are free to classify themselves as vets, newbies, grasshoppers or anything else they desire.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, puppies, sunsets and taking off my bra as I pull in the driveway. If you are like minded, you are in!

And remember, we are ALL worthy of love, humor, and dignity.

I started a new group here for my old BP friends and any new friends who have a sense of humor. Link to join:

Hi LSL,

It can be, but I try to help new members  just out from surgery to understand the first year is your practice run for life.  Hopefully by the time you reach goal you hit your stride and never look back.  Some newbies think I will just eat like this for now or when I hit goal.

Fresh hot bread with butter was a big trigger for me. I ate my first piece(w/o butter) 18 months after I hit goal. I knew then how to stop and it was no longer an issue.

Another reason we struggle in maintenance is sometimes we don't realize we have slowly removed the basics from our routine that leads to it being a struggle again.

I have a great list I can share if you ever need it.  You Got This!

Clearly its time to unsubscribe to that catalog LOL  And notice your "other" NSV in your first sentence "I ran out between rain storms" when did we all as MO or SMO people ever use the term "I ran out."  Yes life is good, keep telling us newbies and novices how awesome it still can be after 13 yrs!
