start of optifast and having issues

I called the hospital where I will be having surgery and talked to the bariactric team

they have switched me from metamucil in my shakes to now benefibre

I am to try this for 3 days...if still having the diarrhea I am to call my own doctor where I live

and have a stool sample tested.......I am on the optifast only and drinking tons of water

so we shall see what the next few days brings
