Swelling and salt?

I have been having sporadic problems with legs getting very swollen. I have been reading on line about swelling and it seems like there is a connection with salt and sodium. I have never monitored my salt intake, but I guess I need to now. Has anyone else had these issues?

What do your labs say?

There are a few things that cause swelling in legs.  Protein deficiency is one,

You need to post your most recent labs, and your previous labs asap.  Also post your vitamin regimine and how much protein and from what sources you are getting it.

I would post these on the pro board forum where the vets and vites/labs experts hang out.

This is not something to take lightly.

Sodium is one thing, but I also thought of protein.  Are you getting in enough daily?

You may also want to get checked by your doctor for lymphedema, it might not be a problem with sodium at all.
