Hello everyone,

A few weeks ago i sent out a cry for help!! I was gaining and it was really get the best of me. Well I started walking on my 10am and 2pm breaks at work which averages out at 2 miles. Then hubby and I walk the trail after dinner and now we're up to 3miles on the trail with fast pace walking and jogging. Well i've finally seen the scale MOVE! i was 162 on the day i sent my desperate email which was about a week and a half ago i'm down to 157.5 now. I know the gym is great, however dont count out walking...its still a great form of exercise! I also cut out sweets, and diet sodas never did regular sodas. Now i drink the diet green tea, and water. I hope i can get out the 150's altogether!! Thanks again for your support and encouraging words!

walking rocks! I never discount the time I spend doing it, because it's something I can enjoy with friends and family - well, moreso than running since not everyone is a runner.

Congrats to you!  Keep up the good work!

Way to go!!  I too love my walks and would be lost without the 'me' time that guarantees me.  I walk 30 minutes every day at work during lunch but instead of calling it phsical activity, I log it under "mental health".

keep up the great work and keep moving forward!

I am creating my own revolution and PAMdemonium reigns!

Awesome! Congrats. Be mindful that success comes in many forms, not JUST by what your scale says...

Congrats and thanks for the reminder.  I go to the gym 3x a week and I need to do something to encourage my daughter with her weight.  I usually don't feel like going back to the gym, but I am going to make it a point to just get out and walk MORE even if I've already done the gym.
