swam 1 mile in the pool in 39 minutes.  By far my fastest time ever, and the best part is my standard deviation per 40 yard laps was around 3 seconds.  Was supposed to do a bike/run brick too today but gonna rest and be lazy on a rainy afternoon.

Long day in the saddle
http://ridewithgps.com/trips/355147
55 miles
10,000 feet of climbing

So now the score is even.
The last time I did this ride, I crashed and broke my collar bone.
This time I completed the ride.  My legs are thrashed, but I have a feeling of accomplishment.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

And we got lost so this ride was actually more work than the one you crashed on!

Oh and for my Sunday workout, I did this ride too.

Sundays are "heavy legs" day for me.  Two hours with the trainer, focusing on increasing strength.  I did supersets on the incline leg press, foot stance wide, then narrow, 12 reps each.  Started at 90 pounds (plus sled) and worked up to 230.  Then alternating single leg extensions with standing ham curls, 6 sets each on each leg.  Some deadlifts for stretching, stability ball twists to warm up.
