10 miles in 1:54

Felt pretty good at the time but damn of my feet and calves aren't screaming at me now. That's ok though holding a baby makes most pains go away.

nothing today.  i just returned from a pretty whirlwind multi-country biz trip and have had to face the stark reality that i may have a more serious injury than i've originally thought.  taking another down week to start to build again, was able to spin 3 times this week while on the trip, but nothing else.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

I started out early this morning to the beach, got in a 50-mile bike ride, headed back home. Two and a half hours for the ride, and three hour round trip to the beach. Desperation breeds stupidity.
On the way home, I stopped by our running store and picked up two new pairs of Saucony running shoes for $50 (normally $320), and two pair of Asics for $80 (normally $300). Pretty good haul. Buying lasts years shoes is definitely a great savings. So I think I'm set for awhile with my running shoes.
Spent all afternoon hauling pavers to the backyard.
