Working out at the park

Hi all,

I am looking for working out ideas while I am at the park. right now I run 3 or 5 km each morning- with one day off. I do a cardio workout 2 days a week. With the weather getting warmer I will be taking my 5 year old to the park between dinner and bed time... I want to make use of this time and need ideas on how to workout at the park and not seem like a creeper. I would really like to add abs, back, arms especially as I feel with all the cardio these areas need some extra attention. I have been looking on Pintrest but haven't seen anything that made me feel I am working out, supervising my daughter (who is a daredevil and needs to have a close eye on her) and won't make me few like a creeper... Any suggestions?

Each day I will open my eyes and believe it is a great day to be me.

If your park has a playground with monkey bars, can you do chin-ups and even involve your daughter in the play/cardio? If you're concerned of how others will perceive you, then having her close & involved in what you're doing will normalize that - - you'd just be a mom playing with her kid, they don't need to know you're doing it for cardio & strength training. If there are see-saws, you can probably wrap your feet around the bars & do sit-ups.

Walking lunge squats, pull ups on monkey bars, incline push ups with a bench, tricep dips on a bench--no one will think you are a creeper if your child is with you.....I do these things all the time at the walking trail.....
