Monday = rest day

Tuesday: did 6 mi on a treadmill at 10min/mile pace. Was sorely tempted to run outside but not very familiar with Baltimore so ranked safety over fun and used a hotel treadmill.

Wednesday: we had planned to do track speedwork but since there was a CC meet, we had to revise - - did 5.4 mile run and just chatted, planning our future runs!

Thursday:had to do "running penance" for some major food bingeing the night before, so did 5.5 miles of trail. It was great! Got the negative emotions out of my system, had my first real "trail fall" complete with mud and bruises. No real damage, just a badge of honor among trail runners!

Friday: 6 miles with a friend who needed to vent. It was great to catch up but I seriously need a rest day....

Feel better! Sucks to be sick!  I've got a bunch of runny noses at home.  I'm not sure if they are sick (not acting like it) or if it is allergies from the pollen covering everything out this way!
