Less then 24 hours and I will be banded!

I am feeling everything from scared, to excited!  Any type of surgery scares me because I just don't like being put under is all.  But, I know it will all be ok.

Today, I got a call from a WLS freind that was unexpected.  We met online years ago before either one of us thought about WLS and last year she had the sleeve done.  She just wanted to give me words of encoruagement and that she was thinking of me etc.  It was so great to hear from her!

So now we are down to the hours before surgery!  I can't belive it is here!  I just wanted say thanks to everyone that post.  I have been able to think more, research more and know what to expect from everyones posts.

Tomorrow will be the start of my new life!

 Congrats on your upcoming surgery!! This will be the beginning of a new life for you, remember to sip, sip and sip slowly and follow your surgeon post op diet instructions and you will be fine. Good luck.

Congratulations.  This is your New Birthday.  I am sure you will do great.  Come and sit next to me on the losers bench when you get back.

I am so happy for you. You are blessed to be able to take this step. I will keep you in my prayers, you just enjoy yourself. That is all I could think of when I was at your point. Yeah, I was scared of surgery but I was so excited I offered to go in at midnight just in case my surgeon wanted to get an early start! He didn't think so. I was waaaay more than ready.
