Oh dear, nutritionally disastrous day

But perhaps not as you may be thinking!

I had my usual breakfast latte and then had a really busy day.

At about 6 in the evening, I thought about making dinner. And realised I had had nothing whatsoever to eat all day!

Before my band, when people said they had forgotten to eat, i thought they were showing off and didn't believe them!

And, of course, by the time dinner was cooked, it was closer to 7, I ate my normal meal amount and then that was it for the evening. NOT recommending this, 500 calories is not a good daily total! But who would have thought 5 years ago that I could forget to eat? As likely as forgetting to breathe!

Gosh, Kate, you got me on that one. Forgetting to eat is certainly not something I would have ever considered as happening to me, either. Of course, with me it rarely does! There are those rare occasions, though.

It only ever happens to me on unstructured but busy days!

I can't say that I forget to eat....but sometimes I just don't want to eat.  That's a new one for me!  ha ha

Hi Kate!

Well, I have settled in to a new happy place with my band.  I have started jogging and that has helped some weight to come off.  I just don't think about food THAT often.  In my personal life, things are a wreck right now, but I will push through that also.

I can just tell you that I hate all men.  ha ha

Enough said.

Believe it or not, pre-surgery there were times I forgot or missed meals, but I wouldn't last into the evening.  I might make it to midafternoon.  The thing is, though, I would then spend the rest of the day "making up for it" by grazing and/or eating everything in sight!

What I forget now until I start eating is how quickly I get full...and how protein really keeps me full for a long time!  Love it.  I still fight head hunger sometimes, but it's slowly getting better.  Now to stay away from those daggone carbs!
