one year anniversary!

It has been one year since my lap band surgery.

It has been quite the journey and continued learning process.

Having both ups and downs.

Being too tight, and losing a bunch of weight, then getting an unfill and having a 15lb setback this summer.

Using my fitness pal to get back on track.

Shopping for the first time in regular stores.

The other day my friend said, I could never do what you are doing.

I told her the pay off is totally worth it!

To date I have lost 65 pounds and went from a size 22 to a size 14.

I am very grateful to have made the decision to get a lap band!

Here's to all of our continued success :)

Congratulations.  I know how you feel.  It has taken me 4 years to get from 289 to 207 and almost in a size 14 Plus from a 28-30 Plus.  I am awaiting the day when my scale says 199.9.  That is going to be quite a day!

Best of luck on this journey of ours.

Congrats! The band is a wonderful thing!

I have dieted so many times and gave up after losing 50-75 pounds only to gain more. I did hit WW & got to  goal once about 20 years ago losing 107 pounds, kept most of it off about 4 years and then boom it came back and then some extras.

I am 18 months out and down 91 pounds looking to lose about 25 more.

For me it gives me just that little reminder that I need each and every meal to eat slow and watch my portions. (wow, isn't that like a normal person?) lol

Congrats on all your hard work! I would never have been able to loose without the help of my band, either.
