Been a long time....but finally healthy and happy after RNY!!

I used to LIVE on this site while I was awaiting surgery and right after. I had surgery July 2004. I know long time ago right! It's been a long and winding road since then. Ups, downs, sickness, and I'm finally healthy and HAPPY!! I thought if I could help anyone avoid the pitfalls I fell into, it would be worth it! I was over 300lbs my day if surgery now I'm maintaining 115!!! If I can find some before pics I will post them.I have always hated pics of myself. 

I have some good info to pass along.. ..some do's and dont's. If you're interested in hearing more, let me know.

Welcome Back!  Let me know if you would like your old profile back I can help you with that.  Sounds like you are doing amazing!  Congratulations.  I had my surgery in 2004 also.

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!! Although I had issues, I will never regret having WLS I always tell people the only thing I regret was waiting so long to have it! 

A whole new world is about to open up for you ?
