Don't forget that, since you're post-surgery, you need to split them (if they're tablets) or ask the pharmacist if you can open them (if they're the red/yellow wrapped pills).  You cannot take gel pills anymore because they won't work with your new pouch.

Tylenol yes .... Motrin/Advil (NSAIDs) NO!!

Why would she need to split a Tylenol?

Edited to add:  Pumkin57, you do not have to split your Tylenol.  Just take it as normal with water.

I don't split my pills...i take them as they are I'm fine.

You are far enough out from surgery.....the size shouldn't bother you

Early on you need to split pills if they are larger than an M&M was what i was told. Even early out i was told any smaller than an M&M were fine to do whole.

After your pouch heals then size is not an issue with pills.
Sometimes the best support  you can get isn't all purple puddles and pink rainbows.

I was told that Tylenol arthritis is ok to take. I have arthritis myself in both knees, lower back and hips. I get really good relief from these meds. I must say that since my surgery,  the pain does get less.

Tylenol or Tylenol Arthritis Formula are fine to take. I like the Tylenol Extra Strength Rapid Release ones myself.
