The sooner the provinces wake up and realize that they can CUT HEALTHCARE COSTS in the long run by investing in this surgery now, the more lives will be saved.
And if they won't listen to us, maybe they will listen to physicians.

I know Ontario's programme is enormously (no pun intended) successful.

Not sure how I feel about that letter but very sad they have to wait 10 years...not fair!

Wow. Opened my eyes.  I can't believe there could be a 10 yr wait list for anything! Do they only have 1 WLS doctor in the whole province?

I wonder if alcoholics or drug addicts have to wait ten years for help. 

I don't think writing a letter to your local MLA is the answer. Instead she should walk right up to her local MLA, punch them in the face and scream "Wake the **** up".
