Guelph surgeon appointment!

I got the call today for an October 3rd appointment with Dr Reed!

It's all becoming more real every day!

 That is great! if you read about Dr. Reed he has amazing credentials. He did my surgery and I couldn't be happier!

 Hello Sharon,

Congrats on your date! You must just be over the moon excited, I know I will be when my turn comes.  Could you give me your timeline through Guelph? I will be going for 2nd set of spots. On the 27th of Sept.  So I'm just wondering how much longer after those?

For Stephanie and anyone else interested in timelines, here's how mine worked:

Referrred by my family doctor (after numerous suggestions from her!) in August 2010

Orientation November 11th

First Sleep study mid-December and follow up in January

Started using Cpap machine in early-February (love it!)

First set of appts with Social Worker, Dietition and Nurse: February 23rd

Internist appointment and stress test in March

Second set of appts with Nurse and Social Worker around April 20th (2 green lights)

Second Dietition appt around June 20th (final green light)

Post-op nutrition class in late August

Phone call for surgeon appointment today!

Surgeon Appointment October 3rd

Surgery, hopefully within the next couple of months...

Start borrowing my daughters clothes next spring!
