Looking to get in touch with people in Stratford and Area!!

Hey,

Pretty new to using the OH forums!! I am wanting to get in touch with more people in my area (Stratford & area) who are thinking about, in the process of, or have already had their surgery!! I am currently waiting to meet the surgeon!! I have been told that will most likely be in Jaunary, but we will see!! Also wanting to know if there are any current coffee meetings in the area!! if not would like to see if anyone would be interested in starting one!!! Hoping to get intouch with at least a few people!!!

 

If you don't mind travelling we have a wonderful group in London.

there is a group in Stratford that meet.
a few ladies have come out to the waterloo meeting so I know there is/was one at least.
try posting again, maybe they haven't been on OH lately, but hope you get a response.

it's so important to meet with others in the same situation.

I'm in London and I would love to get together with people going through the same journey.  I'm just at the beginning of mine and I'm just after all the information I can get!

I know you posted this quite awhile ago, I am 2 years post op, and just moved from the stratford area to kitchener, I do know there was a group that did meet regularily, but I definately wouldn't mind sharing my experience!!

We no longer have a kitchener-waterloo group.  We have amalgamated with Cambridge.  We have coffee nights twice a week :

Sundays, Starbucks, Hespeler Rd/Sheldon, 630 pm
Wednesdays, Cambridge Centre mall food court (right in the middle, the long table), 7 pm
