The day before surgery!

So I got a question. I'm getting surgery in Ottawa. The rule is "not opti shake past 12am" I usually have my last shake at around 7pm. So does that mean I can have an extra one at around 11h30pm. Oh and by the way I'm getting very tired of this opti faze!

Hi Brigitte - just wanted to wish you all the best on your surgery tomorrow! It won't be long until you're claiming your seat on the Losers' Bench. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!

As far as the Opti goes, I would guess that if your 7 pm shake is your 4th and final shake of the day, then that's probably all you can have. I'm not sure if Ottawa allows you to have more than 4 shakes a day. I have to say that I really like the Opti, thank goodness, since I am doing 4 weeks of it!

Anyway, good luck tomorrow and we'll be waiting to hear how you're doing!

Yes, you can have another one around 23h30 the night before surgery. I don't blame you for getting tired of Optifast. It is soon over and the new eating plan is waiting for you.

I'd say, why not? I had my last one around 10pm.
What time is your surgery? Mine was 10:30am and I was allowed clear fluids until 7:30am so I had my black coffee with splenda at 6am.

My Surgery is at 1pm tomorrow. I plan to have my last shake around 8pm. I will drink water in the morning until 10am.
