Everyday at work I get called slim, skinny and what not. I am finding it annoying. Okay I have lost some weight, but to be reminded of it every time I say hello is retarted.

Since I have been called "You Fat F**k" enough times in my life, I'll take the new monocle anyday, anyway.  I agree with the previous responder, they probably mean well.  And if they don't, F**k 'em if they can't take a joke!  Have a grand weekend!

Part of their reaction is genuine happiness that you will be healthier.
Take it as it's meant and thank them.

I think I know what you mean, you are not getting complemented in a sincere way. I am often being told by coworkers how great I look which has given me a complex about how horrible I must have looked before. Also another person keeps saying every time I see her that I am shrinking away meanwhile I was in a stall and then gained but have now lost that again. I hope that people mean these things in a good way, I don't think they are ill intentioned but you are right it does get to be a bit much.

I know what you mean,  It's hard to believe we actually get tired of hearing it, but as others have said, we start to feel like, how bad did we look before?  After a while they stop saying it, then you kinda miss it, lol!

Jason it is tough!

I have been hearing it now for at least 4 months and it is certainly uncomfortable.

Especially coming from people who are now bigger than we are we.

I agree with the others that most people are probably not being malicious and are probably still shocked when they see you.....

But to be reminded every day, enough is enough.

Sorry to say, but  I think it Will continue for a while :(

congratulation on your success so far!
Harold
