So I took your advice...

...And I just followed up with my doctor's office regarding my referral. I just got confirmation from the receptionist that the doctor did indeed send my referral the other day. Woohoo!

Now I know the wait is just beginning and will be long, but I'm still excited. LOL. I guess the best thing is to closely monitor my file at each new step. I don't want to slip through the cracks. Gentle questioning and nudging will be part of the process for sure.

Hey there I also just had my paper work faxed in on the 29th of October , I called the registry today they told me they are working on the ones from October 26-27th..Yay getting close to hear back

What centre will you be going to? I'm in Ottawa so the wait times suck but I'd be happy to hear something by Feb\March.

And you did luck out with your doctor! I've had to ask and ask again and it was more than a month of asking. Wish I git my referral the first time! Lol

I will be going to Toronto western hospital... My family doctor was great he said yes, but I had to quit smoking first so I did, and he did the referal.... I should something in a few weeks! its really fast in toronto.

Congratulations on starting the process. The time seems to go by so slowly from here, but hang in there. Its worth the ride.
