I'm Sitting on the Loser's Bench !!!!! YAY !!!
I had RNY surgery on Wednesday, October 20 at St. Joseph's in Hamilton. Dr. Anvari was my surgeon.
They kicked me out on Friday morning at 11:30 A.M. and I am now sitting on the Loser's Bench.
I was in and out, so fast, that I didn't get a chance to see anyone.
I have lost about 18 pounds and am sipping all day.
Gee..... it takes a long time to get all that liquid in !!!!
I am off all pain meds now and just relaxing and walking around the house.
On Monday, I had my 1 week appt........... it isn't even a week !!!!!
Nada said that I am doing very well and to start full fluids.
The only pain that I had was the larger port sight on the right side.
Congratulations to everyone that had surgery last week and this week. I hope that you are all doing as well as I am.
