Hi Jessica,
I didn't like the taste of chewable Vita-Vims myself, so I tried Bariatric Advantage Multi Formula Tropical (flavour) Chewable Tablets. I think they taste pretty good, I don't have to force them down, and they don't leave a bad aftertaste or have any nasty B vitamin 'taste' to them.
You can buy them in the Shopper's Drug Mart in TWH and I've heard they are also available at the HRRH's pharmacy (but I've only heard that on the forum once, so I can't say for sure), and on the internet. I would buy some at the TWH and if you like them, Bariatric Advantage's website allows you to choose frequent, not so frequent, or yearly delivery plans. If you sign up, delivery is free then.
I have a bottle of the yellow labeled vitamins depicted on the bottom of the page - https://www1.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog/list/S6/RNY
Good luck in your search!
Jenn. :)
I take Vita-Vim chewables, and I don't mind them at all! BUT...when I was at my 3 month post op they told me they are not on the approved list, and suggested I change. They told me to buy the Centrum 50 plus. I'm just going to finish the Vita-Vim though...I bought an eight month supply while they were on sale!!
I liked the Centrum 50+ chewables and the Bariatric Advantage. Both taste pretty good. I swallow my multi now, but I'd recommend either if its a concern about being able to get them in. BA is a very high quality supplement.
