I'm alive.... Surgery went well, Dr said textbook VSG, boy yesterday was rough, today I feel better but these gas pains are brutal,,,,hope it " passes" real soon....so excited to begin this new chapter!

Congrats on your surgery. Hope you recover fast. Try to walk as much as possible. It will help the gas pass

Congrats!!! Yes the pains will subside, but try walking as much as you can. The majority of my pain was from gas but as uncomfortable as it was to walk, I did a few laps a day morning, noon and night and whatever else I could do. It does get better!

Try to walk as much as possible, and when you are at home, try a warm towel, heating pad to help it out. The Putt Putt walks are a good thing ;o)
