Got an appointment with the surgeon...... What happens?!?!

i went for my orientation on sept 12 and received call on for a surgeons appointment on sep 27 with Dr.Sohi att HRRH.....

what happens at this appointment ?

Great... you get Dr Sohi.  He is a very nice/patient Dr.  I have had no negative issues from my surgery.  Basically he will ask you a few questions, he will look at the results of tests/questionnaire info, then ask you if you are ready for surgery...  Curious...  When was your referral before the orientation?

Thank you for the reply. My referral from my family doctor was submitted August 2,2013. I haven't had any test as yet.....

Glad to assist.  You will like Dr Sohi for sure.  so he will just review the orientation work you did, then will ask some basic questions to ensure you are aware of the procedure and possible risks.  Sounds like your moving at a good pace through the process.

Wow. You're moving through the process pretty quickly!

He'll also do a weigh-in to confirm your BMI. Afterward he'll probably send you for blood work (which is done at the hospital next door). Before you leave the office though be sure to check in with the admins -- they will probably give you your next set of appointments before you leave.

Hi!  I had my first appointment with Dr. Sohi a few weeks ago, nothing to worry about.  He is very nice.  He will talk to you and ask  afew questions likely weigh you as previously said.
