I got a case of Premier Protein at Costco last week to try, since everyone loves them and I like that they have 30 g of protein over the 25 that's in the GNC Total Lean shakes I was drinking up until now. I don't love the taste of Premier, but it's tolerable. However I keep getting these giant slimy, lumpy clumps! No matter how hard I shake the box, then pour it out in to a glass and stir... still get lumps. It's like I shake and stir, and then it globs back up on it's own! This morning I tried blending it a little but that seems to really change the texture and taste. It thins out or something. What do you guys do to get rid of these giant lumps? Did I just get a bad case? So gross!!

I have the same issue.

It has turned me off of protein shakes all together - I keep loading my food with powder instead.

Forgive me for not remembering, but someone (think it was PatM) said they shouldn't be lumpy and that they must be old.  She suggested shaking it - I haven't had the tummy to even try it again.

I did as you and magic bulleted mine and it got weird - too foamy which made me burp....I have a case just sitting there doing nothing. Was going to freeze them and make pudding pops...

Would love to hear a solution too so thanks for posting this! Down with the slimy shakes!!

Take them back to Costco and exchange them. I have had to do that before. They are not supposed to be lumpy, it's a bad case.

They shouldn't be lumpy so you may have picked up a bad case.  If putting them through your bullet or ninja or whatever isn't making them any good then I'd return them.  I am not a fan of the Premier ones but I love the Total Lean ones.  They are much nicer tasting and smoother overall I find.  I couldn't go back to Premier after drinking the GNC ones.  And the strawberry is to die for.

I can't see me drinking these daily. Gonna have to go to healthy planet this week and research something else.

I had a protein powder that clumped like that. Left the prepared shake in the fridge overnight because I could not drink it all lumpy and yuck.  By morning lumps had desolved and I was able to drink it - nice and cold makes it taste better too.  Might be worth a try...

oops just realized you meant the pre-made ones - oh yuk!  I would return it for sure.  I have a case I bought a few months ago and it is not lumpy as far as I can tell.  good luck!

Yech, I've never had a "lumpy one" but had a sour tasting one once.

I love my Premier Protein Shakes, have one every morning with my strawberries and cool whip

Try emailing the Premier protein company and complain. Perhaps they will send you out some coupons for new product. enlightened

This makes total sense in my case as I bought these months ago (my bad). Just picked up a new case and refridgerating one and hope it's good. They really are an easy protein so I hope the first ones i had were the exception to the rule.
