Your calories do depend on your activity level. According to the nutritionist at my Centre, I need somewhere around the 1500 calorie mark, but I am very active (kickboxing, running, weight training). I may in fact be a little low -- nut told me to increase as my activity level increases -- and that was before I started running. I'm usually in this range (1500 to 1600) -- sometimes a bit higher and sometimes lower. I'm still losing a little at 17 months out, albeit very slowly now. But I'm within my target range, so I'm pretty much happy.

If you're less active, you probably will need to take in less calories. You can always call you Centre to get some advice on what's right for you. I found them very helpful in this regard!

Hope this is helpful.

I use fitness pal to track my food and excercise. I consume 800 calories a day and then up my calories based on how many have burned through excercise. hope that helps!

Are you still trying to lose more or maintain? I was probably getting around 900 at the 10 month mark. I would not consume more than 1200 if I were you. Keep in mind that the online calculators are gererally flawed for us post-ops. For most of us our metabolism is totally screwed up. I figured out the calories I needed to maintain through trial and error.
