Hi Everyone,

i have a different kind of question I've had gastric bypass and lost 160lbs.... changed my life!! Congrats to all of you newbies just starting out!!!  :)

i've had plastic surgery (tummy tuck and arm lift) I paid out of pocket... and now as I get ready to do my taxes I just wonder if the costs can be claimed?.... a girl can dream right? Lol.... any one know?

thanks :)

Good morning!

Congratulations on the weight loss!

How exciting!

You can claim it under Medical as long as you are issued a receipt from your doctor!

Are you pleased with your plastic surgery results ?

Who did your surgery? Were you hospitalized?

Take care

Thank you,  yes I'm very pleased!!! I had Dr Evan's in London.  I completely recommend him and will definitely be using him again.  You pay out of pocket as he doesn't do OHIP billing for Tummy Tucks.... but so worth it.  My procedures were done as an out-patient.... I had no troubles.
