So I know walking is permitted, and encouraged, after but what about a stationary bike? I will ask my doc as well, but would be nice to know if I should put mine aside for the next couple months or if I can look at getting back on it in a few weeks. :)

Also in a totally unrelated side note, how do you add a ticker to your signature?

I waited a few months before exercising (besides walking) I was told I wasn't taking in enough calories early on to be exercising and I was still healing. I started at about 3 months - swimming, biking, and Zumba classes and still walking of course. My fitbit keeps me motivated to get my 10,000 steps in per day.

Tickers -up by your name at the top right - the star beside the pink plus sign.. there's a drop down menu for ticker - just pick the ticker you want and then log your weight under the pink plus sign. I hope that works? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

Ok, I have a ticker. How do I set it up to display with my posts?

Just my personal opinion but a stationary bike is easier for me than walking. I see no reason not to use it right away, but ask your medical team.

Definitely ask your doctor; that will get you the best answer for you personally. We all heal at different rates (I was a super slow healer).

Good luck!
