Merry Christmas
Hello everyone. Not sure how much I will get on here during the holidays so I wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas and/or happy holidays if that is the term you use. This time last year I was eating everything in sight like it was the "last supper" every meal. One piece of advice, there is never a "last time". What I have come to realize is that this gift means the gift of moderation and no more dieting. I choose not to eat breads and sugar and white carbs BUT if I want it, I can have it in moderation. If I over indulge the scale will tell me So, enjoy the gift of health that you choose every day. You have all been a life line to me this past year.

Very good and timely advice. I am having surgery in 3 weeks and while I'm not on Opti yet there is a feeling like this is the last time for this or that. Then I remember that no, it's not and I have a choice.
Referred January 7/17, Orientation Humber May 28/17, Meet Dr. August 4/17, TRIO November 3/17, Internist November 21/17, Surgeon again December 21/17, Pre-op assessment January 4/18 and Surgery January 12/18.
