weight loss post tummy tuck??

Hi everyone,

After the initial swelling goes down, how much did you lose after having a tummy tuck?  I know that initially people gain (ugh!) from the IV fluids...but after that?  I am having a TT with lipo in 8 week  ( but who is counting??)  and would love to lose a few lbs from this!!  So just wondering...

I lost 9lbs.  I had a tt and no lipo so it could have been more.  My insurance paid and I simply could not afford the extra expense with 2 babies in day care!  I actually say the full 9lbs within 2 weeks as I have not had a tremendous amount to swelling.

Thanks Kristie..I would be thrilled with 9 lbs!!  You are very lucky your ins paid..mine is totally self pay!

I lost 4 pounds not alot but I am so happy with my results

I was 143 pounds going in and had 5 pounds of skin removed. I have been maintaining at 138.
