Resolved infertility?

Hi All,

I'm a little more than a year out but have lost almost all the weight I should and it has slowed down to about .5-2 lbs a week. After we confirm a couple vasovagal episodes aren't anything serious, I've been given the go ahead to try to have a baby again.

I tried for 5 years before RNY with 4 IVF cycles and 2 chemical pregnancies. I'm wondering if I should jump right back into treatments or take some time to try naturally as my surgeon suggests I may be hyper fertile. Did anyone here get pregnant naturally after WLS when ART had crashed and burned?

I had infertility. Took a miracle to conceive my daughter. I was using Nuva ring. Am 13 months out and somehow got pregnant. I'm 9 weeks and doing fine so far. Ultrasound in - week and a half.

Thx. I'm petrified because I'm already gaining weight. Only thing that helps my nausea is carbs and I get queasy even looking at meat lol. I'm doomed! Lol.

It gets MUCH better as your pregnancy progresses! I was queasy all the time and lived on gingersnaps for the first trimester. Once I hit 13 weeks, the nausea went away completely and I could go back to chowing down on protein :)

I don't see any downside to trying a few cycles before dropping the money on IVF. I was pregnant literally 3 weeks after having my IUD pulled, and I know several others here who got pregnant very quickly after having PCOS, endometriosis, or other fertility issues.

I havent had surgery yet, I am scheduled for RNY on Aug 1st. However I have done Timed Intercourse with and with out meds, IUI, IVF, etc. I am hoping that with surgery it gives me my miracle baby. This was a big part of why I am having this surgery. Best of luck to you on this new part of your journey :) I am hoping the Hyper Fertility is correct. I currently have an IUD placed as my clinic is so adamant about not getting pregnant in the first 12 -18 months. So we will see when I get to where you are.
