Update On My Revision you

Hello Everyone I went to see my dietician today since I had my revision 2 months 7 days ago. I didn't obsess this time with the scale. I stayed off of it until today. I was so excited to see I have lost 30 pounds since surgery my dietician was very pleased. I have been working hard exercising 5-6 days a week. And I am over the moon that it showed on the scale. I am looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me.

You are welcome sweetie, Which insurance do you have if you don't mind me asking? Did they give you any problems?

I have BCBS Federal they have denied me before in 2014 for the revision.

I did not know that my acid reflux would become worse with the VSG.

No I don't mind I have Paramount through my employer. Actually I didn't have any problems my surgeon was already congratulating me before my paperwork got sent to my insurance company. I saw him I believe on a Friday and got a call at work on Monday saying I was approved. Are you approved now for a revision? I am so sorry you're acid reflux became worse with vsg. I pray that you have this revision and you start to get the relief from the acid reflux. Don't hesitate to ask me anything about my revision I am here to help anyway I can.

Hi, Not yet. I have my first appt with the surgeon this Thursday. I am sure I will have to jump through all the hoops psych appts, dietician appt etc. If all goes well I will have my surgery in October or November. Yes I appreciate your prayers. Thank you so much. Blessings to you!!!

Congratulations on your revision. I too am in a he market for a revision due to mechanical failure of my pouch. However my question is... How long is the process from the initial consultation to have revision? Does it take 6 months or a year or does it vary? What is involved in the steps towards getting approved for the revision?
