Dreaded 6 Week Stall

So I am at 6 weeks today - and the dreaded 6 week stall ha**** my scale. But I am going to overcome this and hope that next week the scale begins moving again. After reading so many posts about stalling at 6 weeks, I expected this. I am not upset though, suprisingly enough. I know that the scale might not show a weight loss, but pants that I tried on 2 weeks ago and fit were actually a little too loose today when I wore them to work. Guess I won't be wearing them again as they might fall down to my ankles the next time. Hopefully next week I will have better results, but I am happy with my weight loss to date. 24 lbs in 6 weeks is nothing to sneeze at. Also today was my first day back to work and lots of people said that I looked great and didn't think that I needed to lose any more weight (not sure if they were being nice or honest).

I hear ya.  I'm 5 weeks post op and not thrilled with my weight loss thus far.  I am dreading the 6 week stall.  Hopefully, it won't effect me.

I have hit my first stall at eight weeks and I am not stressing.  I don't weigh myself regularly.  If I did, I would drive myself nuts.

Off Topic - Did I count wrong?  I had my surgery a day before you and I though yesterday started week 7 for me. I'm confused! Do you not count the week of surgery?
Week 1: 2/14-2/20
Week 2: 2/21-2/27
Week 3: 2/28- 3/6
Week 4: 3/7-3/13
Week 5: 3/14-3/20
Week 6: 3/21-3/27
Week 7: 3/28-4/3

Back on topic - I stalled last week and was very bloated.  Thought something was wrong and then yesterday I started my cycle am feeling better already.  Do cycles make you stall?

Well today was 6 weeks since my surgery so technically I am starting week 7. I might be counting my weeks a little different than what you are . Here shortly I am going to begin months instead, especially as the weeks go by. I'm not sure about the stall and cycles. I have only had 1 since surgery, I was an unfortunate on to have my period the day of surgery. I didn't stall last month, but only lost 2 lbs, when my average has been about 4 lbs a week. So it has had some impact on my weight loss.

Yeah I was curious about the weeks as my doc said I couldnt start taking pills (without crushing) on week 7 and I started them yesterday.  Then I started second-guessing myself that I started a week early.  But so far they are staying down with no issues so I guess it doesnt matter!
I was getting about 1 to 1.5 pounds a day for the first 3 weeks and its gone down since.  I'm ready to start losing again!

Week 1 - 10 pds
Week 2 - 10 pds
Week 3 - 8 pds
Week 4 - 7 pds
Week 5 - 2 pds
Week 6  - 0 pds
