So I guess Im not having surgery on April 18th??

My paperwork was submitted to my insurance and haven't heard back from them yet. I was also told I needed to take a pre-op class but the surgery is less than a week away and no class scheduled. I called and was told we will probably have to reschedule. That's a bummer.Ill just hurry up and wait in the mean time.

i'm so sorry to hear that! I know the wait game is hard, and the hurry-up-and-wait is even harder!

Yeah, surgery was supposed to be today but they rescheduled with only 15hrs to go. I'm just holding my breath until they wheel me into the OR.... But will be posting extensively if/when I"m in recovery!!

I had the same surgeon as you (and he is AMAZING!). I'm sure they would not have scheduled the surgery without you taking the required classes, at least that was the case when I was going through the process. I didn't hear from my insurance either until a couple of days before I was scheduled.

Good luck, it's worth it!!

The pre-op class I need is Thursday, so if I dont hear back from her tomorrow then its safe to say it will be rescheduled. I was also told I might have to use a different surgeon...my original surgeon is Roy Shen, but they said on this date I would have to Use Jiser or Sibeti. At this point I'll take any of them.

So I guess Im not having surgery on April 18th??
