Barbecue sauce. It's one of those things that after surgery perplexes a lot of people. Because the commercial kind has sugar. So either a) you're scared of it or b) you're not scared of it but once you eat it and don't get sick you freak at the realization that you're not a sugar dumper.

Fear not! A kind Bariatric Foodie reader has shared her no-sugar added barbecue sauce recipe and it meets all the criteria for instant implementation in Nik's household. It is:
