i'm nervously excited. i've got my ditty bag packed w/toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, lipbalm, charging cords for my nook and phone. i'll pack the toothbrush in the morning. anything i'm forgetting???

gotta be there at 8:30 for 10:30 surgery.
surgeon says it will take about 4 hrs in the O/R and another hour in recovery. i hate for my family to wait all that time, but they are insisting....gotta love 'em.

Good luck to you!
4 hours seems like a long time, my surgeon says he will take 2.
make sure your lip balm doesn't have menthol... it doesn't mix well with oxygen BOOM
Clean underwear, and slippers. and something comfortable to change into when you go home.

You will be on oxygen after surgery as well for a bit. Just so you know. I would take a pillow from home with you so on the drive home you have it to hold against your tummy..helps with the pain.

Good Luck!

Good luck!! Don't forget a hairbrush and slippers. I forgot to bring a hairbrush a long time ago and my hair looked so bad, so now I always remember. lol My doc said it would be 2-3 hours but my dh said it was longer than that before the doc came out and talked to him. I was only in the hospital overnight and was so out of it I didn't do much but sleep lol.
