I had my RNY done on monday the 16th  :)  I got home from the hospital yesterday and i feel great :)

I have 6 small incisions which have glue, steri-strips and regular Band-Aids... no sutures :)

I've been walking and sipping and I got down one protein shake today... took me about 2 hours, but i did it :)

I had a fabulous nursing staff at my hospital and I was very happy with my hospital stay

I see my surgeon on tuesday for my first  follow up :)

Welcome Katie
Here is a hint for your protein shakes.  Make them in 4oz batches.  The first few days I could only get down 3 ounces and then eventually 4.  I am almost 6 weeks out and cannot get an 8 oz  protein shake down at one time.   The shakes tastes better when they are "fresh" and have not settled.

Good luck.
