I have volunteered to be part of a research study with my surgeon and another doctor-like guy to track hormone changes in your stomach when you eat.  It's supposed to help them figure out why people are almost instantly cured of Diabetes when they get the surgery.  I'm super excited to be a part of it! AND they are paying me over $1000 to participate!  Thats almost all of my deductible!  All I have to do is eat pudding and let them draw blood from me, LOL.  Cool, huh?

Very cool!  Another friend who had her surgery with Dr Jones about a year ago is doing the same thing, I think.  Almost makes me wish I had diabetes! Lol!
