Eww, foamies...

So last night I was taking my meds and I don't really know what happened but I got this horrible stabbing pain in my gut, tons of pressure then I got the foamies. Oh, the pain! It hurt worse then the surgery. I think maybe a pill got stuck?? But I really don't know. The pain has happened a few times with my night meds but I have never had the foamies. I'm wondering if perhaps I have to take my night meds in shifts. How long should I wait between each dose?

It's possible you did get one stuck.  How many are you taking at one time, and are any of them large? 

I think I take 3 at a time, 6 total. Perhaps one got stuck.

I take several myself.  They told me that especially for capsules and gels you should take one at a time and wait 10 minutes between each one.  You want to avoid them getting stuck or creating a gelatin mass in your pouch that will take a long while to clear.  I had one get stuck one time and it really hurt until it cleared.  It might take longer, but try one at a time and ten minutes between each one.

Wow--I take 6 pills at once and never have trouble.  Should I not do that?
