So grateful for this group
I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you.
Everyone in this forum has been so overwhelmingly kind and supportive throughout this whole process. I honestly don't know what i would've done without you all. I'm lucky to have a really supportive partner, but the truth is, he'll never understand all of this the way people who've been through it do.
Thank you!

I agree. I have gotten so much support here, and not only about my RNY, either. When my nephew, who had very serious emotional and behavioral problems, was living with me, everyone here was extremely supportive. Back in the spring, when I went through a period of severe depression, people here were absolutely wonderful. A couple people even PM'd me with their phone numbers in case I needed to talk and I spent a couple hours on the phone with someone in the middle of the night. I don't know how I would have gotten through that night without that.
I've also learned a LOT from people here, which is very valuable too. But the support is the incredible thing, I think.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
I whole heartedly agree with you both.I would not be where I am in this journey without the people on this board. I have learned so much and gotten to know some really wonderful people. Who I know I can turn to when I need anything.
