What's the best part?
Howdy everybody!
I'm super excited about having surgery! To keep myself psyched, I was just wondering: What was the best part about losing weight, for you?
I think, for me, it will be being able to shop for clothes in normal stores and find outfits to buy because I LIKE them, not just because they are all that will fit me...
I'm excited to hear everyone's answers!

So many things..
- crossing my legs
- shopping
-boots that fit
- low rise jeans!
- tying my shoes without having to pull my foot up to me
- running
- sharing clothes with my daughters
- I can see my feet!
- tank tops (without a sweater over it)
- Feeling confident!!! I love walking into a room and feeling like I am not being looked at/pointed at/laughed at.
- fitting in a booth
- I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I no longer have to scan a room for the "sturdy chair"
plus so many more things..

For me, first and foremost, ti was getting off of most of my insulin. I have had so many episodes of low blood sugar and have landed in the hospital so many times, scaring my loved ones half to death!
The, yea it is most definitely, fitting into smaller clothes, feeling like I can "strut my stuff" and look good!.
and not having my upper thighs rub together when I walk!! I have to wear stockings every day to work and went though a pair a week because the were just rubbed to weakness and would snag and tear so easily!
Good luck and keep us posted!

Doing all the activities that I always wanted to do, but was stuck on the sidelines watching until after surgery.
Bungee Jumping
Para-sailing
Horseback riding
Jet skiing
Fitting in any chair- esp ones with arms!
and of course, taking up cycling and riding 545miles in 7 days...that takes the cake thus far!

I am only about 1 month out and I have to honestly say I can feel and see the results already. I am down about 1 size and some of my clothes that were tight now fit loose. When I would wear tight fitting jeans, my stomach would bulge over and now that no longer happens and I love it. I realized last night that I haven't had knee pain since surgery and I LOVE IT especially since my mom had a total knee replacement early this year.
I am enjoying the looks and admiration and how my relationships with others are changing for the most part, for the better.
