Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while but finally decided to post...I find all the info on here amazingly helpful!

I decided to have RNY done back in May but had to complete the 6 month "I Can Change Program" required by my insurance company. I just got my date last week...11/28 is my day! I'm SO excited and super ready for this awesome change. Looking forward to posting and getting to know you all!

Congrats on surgery date. You can get alot of suport and help on OH. Had my Rny 10/24. As my date got closer I was getting nervous and wanted to cancel. But people here supported me and got me through it. Good luck keep us posted

Yay! Congrats on getting a day and welcome! One small bit of advice is to purchase some Gas-x strips for after surgery

They were my life saver!

Congratulations on the surgery date. follow your doctors instructions and get up and walk as soon as possible!
