I can't believe it's been almost two years since I had my surgery.  I'm in maintenance mode at this point, but I'm thrilled about my life and my health.  Thanks to everyone on this site who continues to be a source of strength and inspiration for me. The first photo was taken at my 30th birthday celebration in December 2009, about two months before my surgery.  At that time I was 334lbs.  The new pictures were taken about two weeks ago.  I've lost about 180 lbs.  I love the great new clothes I can wear, but my greates victory is that I can experience all that life has to offer.  It doesn't just pass me by anymore.
