Foamies?

Can someone explain what 'foamies' is/are? Thanks!

Never had it, but I searched the site and found where it was discribed follows
It's when you get something stuck in your esophagus, or stoma, and your body tries to clear it by producing very slimy, foamy mucus. When you throw it up, looks foamy.

Red described it well.  It sucks

Had it twice today.  For me, I ate something that my pouch did not like and I knew after a few bites.  I didn't have to rush, but I got up went to the bathroom and just leaned over the bowl and burped out the offending food along with some extra foam and slime.  After that comes up, I am good, and take notes so that it doesn't happen again.  It's not horrible, but I did have to excuse myself from a meeting so that I could get rid of the food and continue on with my meeting. Otherwise, I would have been burping and uncomfortable through the whole meeting,

YEah I have had this serveral times lol you eat something and for whatever reason too much or stuck you throw up and all comes out is clear mucus and foam stuff I have had it last for as long as 2 hrs and as short as 1/2 hr. Not a good feeling

While the foamies suck, I think the pouch makes them to help the food exit easier!!  It makes throwing up not such a terrible experience...no burning or worrying that acid is ruining my esophagus...all the food is thrown up coated in nasty foamies! I threw up a lot the first month, but not so much now.
