Finally!
Well, it's only taken 4 yrs, 3 surgeries, several scopes, and LOTS of complaining and insisting, but they have FINALLY figured out what's going on with my liver/stomach/pancreas!
Turns out, it really isn't my liver that is making me feel yucky. My gastroenterologist finally figured out/ diagnosed me with Papillary Stenosis. It can send my liver enzymes through the roof, make me have pain, and symptoms similar to pancreatitis.
Good news...we know what is wrong. Bad news....I have to have another surgery to fix the problem. He said that, if I hadn't had RNY, it would be an easy scope and fix. Unfortunately, since they didn't, correctly, diagnose me before and I HAD the surgery, it will be surgical.
I'm just soo glad that I have an answer and a solution. Maybe this next year I will be feeling 100%! That would be awesome!
