Stomach virus three days before surgery

My gastric bypass is scheduled for Tuesday but yesterday I came down with a severe stomach virus with vomitting, diarrhea and fever.  Symptoms are gone today.  Any ideas whether I will be able to proceed with the surgery this week or not?

I would check with your doctor.  My guess is that if you do not have a fever you should be good to go.  Good luck to you.
