I still feel queezy after eating small amounts of anything.... What can I do?

I had gastric bypass on January 25th and I still feel queezy everytime I eat.  Of course I'm having to make myself eat at certain times because since the surgery I haven't felt the first hunger pain.  My doctor has me on pureed foods so I am trying hard to get all of my protein in and stay hydrated.  I've get to find a happy setting to do this.  What advice can anyone give?

 I felt like that for a week or so.  I will say the no hunger thing is normal, I am 7 months out and still never feel hungry.

This is fairly common 1-3 weeks out. It should pass, but if it's bad, or if you stop being able to keep food down, call your clinic and ask for an anti-nausea meds.

My surgery was January 18th and my surgeon still has me on full liquids. I don't start purees until later this week. Maybe your pouch isn't ready for purees? Everyone is different. Do you get queasy after protein shakes? If not, maybe stick with shakes only for a few days and then slowly work up to purees again.

I still have to take anti-nausea medicine occasionally.. usually if I have had something with a thicker consistency like a thicker strained cream soup.

I hear this is very common in the first month or so,i didnt have any and im 7 mos post-op but i see lots of others who have it should pass pretty soon,hang in there:)
