Birthday and so Grateful
Today is my 28th birthday. I've never cared to really celebrate my birthday. Usually its a few gifts and LOTS of cake. This year I am overwhelmed with emotions. I am so grateful for the life I have now. I feel like I am finally living. Does that make sense? I have a new appreciation for life. Surgery has made every difference in my life. I really don't know where I would be if I hadn't had the surgery. I just wanted to share my appreciation for my surgery and for my life now.

I am so happy for you! My only regret was I didn't do WLS when I was in my 20's.
